Lymm is a pretty North Cheshire village, with an ancient market cross, cobbled streets and a pond in the centre, and the Bridgewater canal and the Trans-Pennine Trail passing through.
Each year at this time, the village explodes with activities ranging from all kinds of music (including classical, choral, jazz, folk, blues, cabaret), through to art , drama, dance, comedy, poetry and prose, photography, scarecrows, storytelling, exhibitions, open gardens and much more.
Henri Rousseau painted his "Tiger in a tropical Storm (Surprised!)" in 1891 and fifty Lymm artists painted their spectacular BIG Picture for the Lymm Festival in 2007 .... well done to all artists!
