The 2008 Lymm Festival is pleased to welcome The Atlanta Roots Band, now firmly established as one of the finest blues-rock bands in the North West, and since its formation over 30 years ago, the band has supported some of the biggest names in the blues world.

Johny Hewitt, harmonica player with Smokehouse Blues, and Tommy Allen, guitarist with Trafficker, are two of the UK’s finest younger blues musicians. They are sure to provide a fine start to the evening performing a mix of their own compositions and some classic blues from the likes of Sonny Boy Williamson, Robert Johnson and Muddy Waters.
