This is an ideal opportunity for all the family to find out more about Lymm. Discover when the railway came. Find out when the Dam was built, and what happened down at the Slitting Mill. Why was the road past the parish church called Penny Lane? The answers to these and other questions can be found on this self - guided quiz. The full route is 3 1/2 miles and takes in a Dam, a Gorge, an old railway track and a canal, but there is a shorter version if you can’t manage the lot. A perfect way to discover the local environment, especially if you are new to the area.
