As the writer of the classic songs The Naked Highwayman and Here’s to Tom Pain, Steve Tilston has been quietly ploughing his own artistic furrow, turning out quality albums since the early 70s. Born in Liverpool and raised in the Midlands, he has toured all over the world, winning many accolades as he went. His songs have been recorded by a variety of fine artists including Fairport Convention, Dolores Keane, Bob Fox and North Cregg. Lymm Festival are very lucky to have him - he should not be missed.
