LymmFest gates open 2.30pm, Marquee at Lymm Rugby Club,

£8 adult, £6 children, under 4 years old free, family ticket £23

Live music, food, bar and stalls.  Fun for all ages.

Manchester Bonsai Society Annual Show, 10am – 4pm, United Reform Church, £3 adults, £2 concs

A stunning display of bonsai trees and advice available plus equipment for sale.

 

Lymm Folk Club : Breakfast with Marmalade, 12noon, Spred Eagle Pub, FREE

Enjoy some music in the beer garden of the Spread Eagle.

 

Lymm Folk Club: Acoustic Concert, 2pm – 6pm Spread Eagle, Lymm FREE

Performers are given a 20 minute slot, the audience votes and the winner is offered a ‘gig’ .

An comedy written by Ian McMillian, looks back over Richard Matthewman’s life from childhood to present day.

An evening of toe tapping flamenco musci from the talented guitarist Glenn Sharp.

The maker of last year’s Lymm-London festival installation, Richard Cowley brings to the gallery another off the wall introspective, looking at our towns famous landmarks; called ‘Photo-Panopticon’. Also the first exhibition of LymmPhotoArt.com’s work will be on display.  Other works on show includes craft and glasswear from Made in WA.  There will be the opportunity to purchase items during the exhibition.

Find poems especially chosen by the Lymm Rangers along the Trans Pennine Trail between Star Lane and Reddish Lane, Lymm.

Just join the trail at any point and enjoy the poems.

Lymm Artists’ Summer Exhibition

The Lymm Artists will be holding a very exciting exhibition with some new members showing some of their latest work including glass, surreal photographic collages, textiles, crafts and mixed-media in addition to their traditional oils, watercolours, acrylics and etchings.

Festival Scarecrow Trail

Wednesday 13 June until Sunday 8th July

All around Lymm

Trail maps will be available to download from here soon.

This year the competition is ‘Going for Gold’….so…get set…get ready….and go!!!

Create your very own Sporty Scarecrow – choose a famous celebrity or any character you like from television, films or books taking part in any sport you like!

Grab a trail map and go round the village looking for the Scarecrows.

The prize-giving will be in the Art in the Garden on Sunday 8 July at 1pm.

Art in the Garden

Over 20 artists will exhibit work in the beautiful canal-side garden of a Norwegian log cabin.

This year’s theme is The Enchanted Garden and included a Fairy House for the little ones to enjoy!

Refreshments will be available.
