Each year, Lymm Festival celebrates arts, music and culture with around 50 events.
This March, for the first time in 21 years, we had to make the difficult decision to cancel #LymmFest20.
But, we are now delighted to announce that the celebration will continue through a selection of online ‘tasters’! We will use Youtube and social media to showcase ‘what might have been’ and give a flavour of what to expect in future years when the Festival can return.
Look at the separate event pages for the events for more details
We will have an online presence throughout the original festival dates 18th – 28th June, so keep an eye on this website, newsletter and social media for exciting updates over the coming weeks

♦ Music – Not just one, but TWO fantastic events
⇒ ‘2020 Online Taster’
We had a number of brilliant music acts booked for 2020: obviously they won’t be able to come this year, BUT we are delighted to be able to offer a unique compilation of the performers that were scheduled to appear. From Folk to Blues with some Indie on the way.
⇒ ‘Lymm Lockdown Showcase ‘
🎵CALLING LOCAL MUSICIANS 🎵
Lymm’s music scene may have moved indoors, but there has still been an enormous display of creativity throughout lockdown. We are bringing you a taste of this talent in our ‘Lymm Lockdown Showcase’. #lymmfest20
♦ A Poem a Day. Theme – ‘Rejoicing in Nature’
Nature has been a source of inspiration and comfort to many these past months, as our daily walk has led to a new appreciation of the natural world.
As ‘Our Favourite Poems’ is one of the Festival’s popular events, we feature an online presentation of requested poetry, read by Fr. Michael Burgess and Festival Deputy Chair, David Smith, on the theme ‘rejoicing in nature’.
♦ Join the #LymmFest20 Headband Challenge!
No haircut for months?
Can’t see through your fringe?
Run out of things to make and do?
Why not design and make your own personalised headband to tame those wild locks?
Ludicrous or lovely, sensible or silly, we would love to see how creative Lymm can be.
