The aim of the Lymm Festival is to put on something for everyone in the Community – whatever your tastes and whatever your age group.
The Summer Festival takes place each year in the second half of June, hopefully when the weather is great and we can all enjoy the outdoor events as well as the gigs, concerts and exhibitions indoors.
We do our very best to have a range of events that will please everyone; from children, through the teenage years and families, to the more mature members of the public. We do hope that you will enjoy what we have on offer.
Music – from sacred choral singing through to blues and jazz via pop and swing!
Comedy/Drama – from stand up comedy to plays and drama
Food Plus – of course, the Festival starts with the FoodFest but then there are plenty of opportunities for picnics.
Art & Literature – including exhibitions of art by local groups.
Out & About – there’s walks and talks, cruises and sketching and a garden party for families with a wide range of activities & shows and poetry and stories.
Heritage – Lymm has a fascinating history and we reflect this in some of our events
Family – Many of our events
* As well as some big names, we will have lots of local talent across the board.
* There are lots of free events and everything takes place in and around the village in more than 20 different venues!
* So whatever your taste, there must be something here for you.
* Get involved and join in the fun, meet new friends from around the village enjoying the events with you.
The details of every event and how to buy your tickets can be found here on the website and around the beginning of May the Event Guide will be available; distributed to just about every home in Lymm and in the surrounding area as well. It can also be found in local shops etc.
Tickets will also be available for sale from early May: on line, to order from Lymm Electric or from the Box Office in the Annexe at the Village Hall
Lymm May Queen – We would love you to come along, see our stall and have a chat, on the May Queen Field on 12th May.
Watch out for the posters around the village and keep coming back to the website for the latest news as we go through 11 days of FUN!
