Since their formation in 2006, the critically acclaimed Eblana Trio have performed across the UK and beyond, winning praise for the depth and insight of their interpretations of this often neglected repertoire.
Recent seasons have included performances at Wigmore Hall, Bridgewater Hall and on Radio 3’s ‘In Tune’. Now, they are bringing Lymm Festival an evening of Beethoven, Finzi and Moeran.

Local flautist Meera Maharaj and harpist Sophie Rocks will be exploring the theme of ‘mythology’, with music from Debussy’s ‘Prélude à l’après-midi d’un faune’ and Gluck’s ‘Orfeo ed Euridice’.
The evening will also feature a Scottish folk re-telling of the Shetland trolls, in honour of Sophie’s Scottish heritage!
