Winter Warmers

Programme for 2014/2015

A Great Night! ...  A SELL OUT!!

Blues Night on Friday, 14th November - all we can say is ‘Wow’’ what a brilliant evening with class musicianship playing to a packed audience.

Chris Bevington opened the night by playing tracks from his new album with such brilliance that the music came alive - absolutely full of classic Blues sounds. Chris Bevington & Friends (including Paul Burgess and Graham Glover from The Hoodoo Men mentioned below) are already booked to appear at the summer Festival Blues Night on Friday, 19th June 2015 at Lymm Golf Club. Look out for more information!

Then, Queen of the Blues and Soul, Makuini proved how great she is with her diverse performance of slow ballads and upbeat groove music - she was fabulous! The audience tapped their feet in time to the music whilst others got up to dance.

Supporting her, The Hoodoo Men played Blues the way it is meant to be – we loved it. Paul Burgess, Pete ‘Sarge’ Frampton and Graham Glover, stars in their own right, proved their class and reputation with their superb performances.

According to Dave Sawyer, our Events Director and Blues Specialist, this was ‘the best Festival Blues Night ever’.

The Winter Warmers go on into

Arthur is a regular presenter on BBC Radio 4 and BBC's The One Show and is probably best known for his many appearances on ‘Grumpy Old Men’.

On Saturday, 7th March 2015, a real highlight of our Winter Warmer programme, will be Pete Price and Friends at Lymm Golf Club. Warrington born and bred, Pete has a reputation as both a local and international performer. He will be joined by other talented local musicians on the night.
