Oughtrington Bowling Club Open Day

Help us celebrate 130 years of crown green bowling in Oughtrington Bowling Club.

It’s a special year for the club, based at Stage Lane. We can go back to 1896 since bowling first took place in Oughtrington, and think that’s something we should celebrate.

The green will be open to visitors who want to have a go at bowls and perhaps enjoy a cup of tea as well.

The Club has a hundred members who enjoy an idyllic location for social and competitive bowling. New members are always welcome.

This is a fantastic sport where grandparents can participate alongside their grandchildren. Mums and dads don’t stand on the side lines watching but join in and play together.
