The return of a popular Lymm Festival favourite, where poetry lovers can hear some of their favourite and requested poems read by our experienced team of readers.

Poetry for you, chosen by you, and read out loud for everyone to enjoy!

This long running event has introduced poetry of every kind, from well known and old favourites to recently written and less familiar works. The mixture will depend on what is requested, but can be depended on to induce a whole range of reactions from laughter and smiles to wonder, charm and strong tugs at the heartstrings.

This year we would like to dedicate the event to the memory of Michael Burgess, one of our founder readers, who had a great love and appreciation of poetry. He is greatly missed, and will not be replaced.

Our readers Sue Dodd, John Griffiths and Helen Stewart, will be hosted as usual by Honor Giles.
